Job summary

TechInsights is seeking a Semiconductor Materials Segment Leader to own the end-to-end strategy for the Materials segment from product to budget. You will drive ARR growth, pricing strategy, and market expansion while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Product Marketing to convert opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy, commercial leadership, or business development.
• Experience solving complex problems and engaging senior executives.
• Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, materials, chemicals, or adjacent tech experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of technology markets, customer economics, and value chains.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MS, PhD, or other advanced degree is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive fact-based recommendations.
• Track record of moving from strategy to execution with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing or commercializing new products, services, or growth initiatives in B2B information, SaaS, research, or technology.

Responsibilities

• Own the Materials segment strategy and growth plan, including ARR targets, forecasting, quarterly reviews, and profitability initiatives.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and commercial models using customer value and market dynamics to grow ARR.
• Build a market view by segmenting opportunities, identifying targets, and translating insight into priorities.
• Create growth plans with priority accounts and identify high-value new-logo targets with Sales.
• Lead strategic customer and market engagement with senior executives to uncover opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing and BD on demand-gen programs to improve conversion to revenue.
• Define how existing content and data can form differentiated Products for the Materials segment.
• Shape product roadmap priorities with Product and Research teams based on demand and impact.
• Identify inorganic growth opportunities and build the business case.
• Create segment narrative and sales enablement to bring offers to market.
