Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Material Analysis Technician to perform advanced material analysis and failure analysis in a TD/HVM lab supporting silicon process development and high-volume production.

You will develop imaging, composition analysis and sample prep techniques to improve lab quality, efficiency and output, interfacing with fab customers and quality engineers to craft root-cause solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science or related STEM with 2+ years lab/manufacturing experience.
• Associate degree with 4+ years hands-on lab/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with semiconductor lab equipment and failure analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform material analysis and failure analysis using SEM/EDX, TEM and FIB techniques.
• Prepare samples and analyze thin films to determine structure and properties.
• Collaborate with TD and HVM engineers to improve process performance and reliability.
• Support and sustain lab equipment and provide toolkit/BKM improvements.
