Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks an AutoTEM Technician to support advanced TEM analysis and materials characterization. You will prepare ultra-thin specimens and perform TEM imaging using dual-beam FIB systems to aid process development and failure analysis.

The role requires a technical degree with relevant lab experience and the ability to work on-site in a dynamic semiconductor environment, with ongoing skill advancement and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 0–3 years hands-on lab experience.
• Or an Associate’s degree with 6–8 years lab/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with dual-beam FIB systems and TEM imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of sample preparation techniques and lab protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical functions to support fabrication, process integration, and failure analysis.
• Prepare samples and capture TEM images using FIB/TEM tools.
• Maintain records and adhere to lab protocols.
• Assist with lab sustaining and tool maintenance.
• Upgrade skills through hands-on training and collaboration.
