Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Materials Science professional to join our world-class semiconductor manufacturing team in Phoenix. You will perform advanced materials analysis (TEM, FIB, SEM, SIMS, XPS), support fab operations, and train technicians while maintaining strict cleanroom safety and on-site work requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in SEMI R&D or HVM.
• Proficient in lab techniques such as TEM, FIB, SEM, SIMS, XPS or AES.

Responsibilities

• Support fab operations and participate in on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to interpret requests and provide feedback.
• Perform advanced materials analysis using TEM, FIB, SEM, SIMS, XPS.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and minimize downtime.
• Develop and improve analytical methods for lab efficiency.
• Assist and train technicians in tool and process challenges.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
