Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Projects to lead all aspects of semiconductor production.

You will drive strategic initiatives, coordinate across Engineering, Maintenance and Quality teams, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. The role requires a proven track record in large-scale manufacturing, Lean, 5S and Kaizen, with strong leadership, budgets, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
• Minimum 10 years in semiconductor manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Proven track record in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S.
• Strong analytical skills converting production data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production progress and address bottlenecks to meet schedules.
• Allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) to meet targets.
• Dynamically adjust schedules to handle priorities and maintenance.
• Lead Quality Assurance processes with the Quality Control team to reduce defects.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and drive a culture of safety.
• Drive 5S culture and continuous improvement through audits and training.
• Lead a team of supervisors and engineers, conduct performance reviews.
