Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a hands-on engineer to lead process development, transfer and improvement in a high-volume manufacturing fab.

You will work with process, integration and yield teams to ensure quality, cost competitiveness and efficient cycle times. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with plasma tools, plasma physics and statistical analysis, and holds an MS/PhD or equivalent BS with substantial experience.

Qualifications

• Lead process development, transfer and improvement initiatives in high-volume fab.
• Experience with plasmas and plasma physics is preferred.
• Excellent experimental skills and hands-on fabrication experience.
• Strong background in statistics, SPC, DOE and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, transfer, and improvement initiatives in the San Antonio fab.
• Collaborate with process, integration and yield teams to improve metrics.
• Drive technology transfers and cost-effective manufacturing improvements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize processes and equipment in production tapeouts.
