Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its MEGASYS® group in the United States. You will oversee technicians’ daily activities to ensure the supply of gases and chemicals for semiconductor manufacturing and act as the primary customer contact for operations and projects.

The role requires leadership experience, comfort with travel, and a drive to improve safety, reliability, and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in semiconductor/chemical/manufacturing.
• Or high school diploma with 8+ years in semiconductor/chemical/manufacturing.
• 1+ year of leadership, mentorship, coaching, or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians’ daily activities to ensure gas/chemical supply.
• Coordinate gas/chemical management projects, scheduling, and execution.
• Serve as key customer interface for all operations and projects.
• Ensure zero gas/chemical interruptions and flawless shift handoffs.
• Train and certify technicians across skill areas per scope of work.
• Maintain shift schedule and address attendance and performance.
