Job summary

EMD Electronics seeks a MEGASYS Operations Supervisor to oversee technicians in a fast-paced semiconductor gas/chemical environment. You will ensure on-site supply of chemicals and gases, drive safety and quality, and spearhead project coordination with customers.

This role offers travel/mobility nationwide; relocation options may be available. A degree with 2+ years in manufacturing or equivalent experience with leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing or
• HS diploma with 8+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing; leadership
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience in electronics/manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture and meet ZERO safety/quality targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement changes across shifts.
• Reinforce shift handoffs to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Be main customer contact for operations and projects; sustain activities.
• Communicate customer activity, delays, status, and action items.
• Train and certify technicians to required proficiency per scope of work.
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance; manage MAXIMO non-conformances.
• Conduct 8D investigations and close corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment/service excursions; escalate as needed.
• Maintain shift schedule; manage attendance and performance feedback.
