Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a hands-on Operations Lead for MEGASYS services, overseeing on-site gas/chemical management in semiconductor environments. You will supervise shifts, drive safety and quality, and ensure smooth handoffs and customer coordination.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience and a background in electronics/chemicals. On-site work with opportunities to mentor teams and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 2+ years in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting.
• Or High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years of demonstrated leadership, mentorship, coaching, team building, or supervisory experience in an electronics or chemical manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Drives safety-first culture with safety messages, communications, and team interaction to meet ZERO targets in safety and quality.
• Drives continuous improvement by implementing changes across shifts based on site needs and metrics.
• Ensures flawless handoff between shifts with accurate communication on customer expectations and deadlines.
• Main customer contact for all Operations and project activities; maintains ZERO gas/chemical interruptions.
• Communicates customer activity and status of service requests, equipment resets, and action items.
• Trains and certifies technicians to attain proficiency across skill areas per the scope of work.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance; manages non-conforming events database (MAXIMO).
• Conducts 8D investigations and closes action items.
