Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a MEGASYS maintenance technician to perform daily maintenance of chemical, gas, and slurry distribution systems and to support semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will read P&IDs, document activities, and execute repairs to ensure safety, quality, and reliability across 24/7 operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in industrial maintenance, with preferred trade/vocational or technical degree.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or trades work experience (e.g., plumbing, welding, oil field work).
• Completion of trade/vocational school or Associate Degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency with PLCs, including troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with startup and commissioning.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Experience in continuous improvement.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs.
• Familiarity with gas and chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operations.
• Lockout/tagout practices experience.
• Technical aptitude to identify parts needed for a repair.
• Strong overall mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read gauges and use precision measuring equipment.
• Understanding materials of construction and chemical compatibility.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
