Job summary
JST in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex semiconductor wet processing equipment issues. You will lead startup, qualification, and system integration of high-value automated wet bench systems, providing expert technical guidance to customers.
Ideal candidates have an engineering or technical degree with 5+ years in semiconductor equipment or automation, and hands-on experience with PLCs, electrical schematics, and control systems.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years in semiconductor equipment or automation.
- Experience with PLCs, electrical schematics and control systems is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and hands-on troubleshooting skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex failures using advanced diagnostic techniques and engineering principles.
- Lead startup, qualification and commissioning of automated wet bench systems.
- Provide expert technical consultation to customers and document service activities.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems and validate performance against SEMI standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design improvements.
