Job summary

JST Manufacturing is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, startup, troubleshoot, and optimize automated wet processing equipment at customer facilities in Greensboro, NC with travel.

You will commission systems, interpret schematics and P&IDs, train customers, and document activities for engineering teams. A technical degree and experience with semiconductor equipment or PLCs are preferred. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, PLCs, or complex manufacturing systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Commission and qualify advanced semiconductor wet bench systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, and process-related issues.
• Support PLC-based control systems and automated equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Perform field modifications, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Document service activities and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers.
