Job summary

Advantest America Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize semiconductor ATE interface products.

You will serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing to ensure successful deployment and performance of test interface solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, semiconductor test knowledge, and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related technical field.
• 2+ years in semiconductor test, electronics manufacturing, field service, or related roles.
• Strong troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support load boards, sockets, contactors, and probe interfaces at customer sites.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and performance issues affecting semiconductor test operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve field problems.
• Provide product training and best-practice guidance to customers.
