Job summary

Advantest is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure, and support semiconductor test interface products at customer sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, diagnose issues, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure optimal test performance.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers and the ability to support qualification, ramp, and sustaining activities across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills for semiconductor test equipment.
• Knowledge of load boards, test sockets, contactors and related ATE hardware is a plus.
• Excellent customer communication and liaison with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for load boards, sockets, contactors, probe interfaces, and related ATE hardware.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot test interface products at customer locations.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and performance issues affecting semiconductor test operations.
• Document service actions and customer interactions for ongoing improvements.
• Support customer qualification, production ramp, and sustaining activities.
