Job summary

Chroma ATE Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced semiconductor measurement equipment across North America.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot the SuperSizer series tools, serve as the primary contact for customers, and collaborate with engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role emphasizes client communication, precise record keeping, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 1–3 years of semiconductor field experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor measurement equipment.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client Communication: Confirm facility requirements prior to equipment installation.
• Installation & maintenance: Complete installation or relocations of SuperSizer series measuring tools and perform regular preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in Supersizer products at the component level to minimize downtime.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports to facilitate coordination between Chroma and customers.
• Inventory management: Ensure appropriate spare parts levels and perform periodic inventory counts.
• Data analysis: Conduct data collection, analysis, and calibration on Supersize series products.
