Job summary

Advantest America is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and support semiconductor test interface products at customer sites. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and performance issues and provide training and guidance to customers.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve field issues and drive product success, while maintaining strong customer relationships and documentation of actions taken.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting semiconductor test equipment and interfaces.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with load boards, sockets, contactors, and probe interfaces is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for load boards, sockets, contactors, and ATE hardware.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support test interface products at customer locations.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and performance issues affecting semiconductor test operations.
• Respond to customer requests and maintain timely communication during resolution.
• Document service actions, corrective actions, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Design, Applications, and Manufacturing teams to resolve field issues.
