Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain capital equipment at customer sites, including semiconductor systems. You will troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation problems on-site, while supporting preventive maintenance and on-time upgrades. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential for this multi-level role across U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
3–5 years field service/maintenance experience in semiconductor or precision manufacturing.
Experience with automation systems and PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
Ability to read P&ID, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and qualify equipment at customer facilities, ensuring safety and specifications.
Troubleshoot control, electrical, and mechanical systems on-site, including PLCs and drives.
Diagnose faults using P&IDs and drawings; document resolutions and actions.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades for reliability.
Provide customer training and on-site technical support to teams.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering for design improvements and issue reporting.
Maintain service logs and manage spare parts for assigned regions.
Travel regularly to customer sites and respond to after-hours calls.
