Zusammenfassung

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician to support our Quality & Reliability team in Phoenix. You will perform failure analysis on leading-edge semiconductor devices using FIB, TEM, SIMS, and XPS, document findings, and help improve processes.

The role requires cleanroom exposure, strong safety practices, and collaboration with engineers to develop analytical methods. You will work a compressed 4/3 or 3/4 schedule as needed, with 12-hour shifts, and be prepared for day or night

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree (A.A.S.) in science/engineering/tech or related field.
• Basic PC skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong teamwork.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• May work in a cleanroom environment; PPE protocols.
• Experience with TEM sample prep and analytical methods is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Operate Dual-Beam FIB to prepare TEM samples or conduct materials analysis.
• Operate TEM for imaging, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare TEM samples, including de-layering and protective coatings.
• Handle chemicals safely per PPE protocols.
• Collect, organize, and report data to internal/external customers.
• Assist engineers with development of analytical methods.
• Maintain laboratory 6S and support Fab operations.
• Participate in on-call schedule as required.
