Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team in Austin, TX, onsite. The role focuses on courteous, professional service within a fast-paced supply chain in the semiconductor sector.

Responsibilities include handling quotes, orders, repairs, warranty, shipping inquiries, and account management with SMI programs. The position is a 1-year assignment and may require overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and order processing; semiconductor industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in SAP (preferred); knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to incoming customer phone calls regarding spare parts quotes, order placement, repair and warranty services, shipment tracking, and billing inquiries.
• Manage customer accounts, including maintaining Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) programs.
• Advise customers on delivery schedules and investigate shipping issues promptly.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns efficiently.
• Overtime, weekends, and holiday work may be required as business needs demand.
