Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support on-site field operations—ensuring safety, schedule, and profitability. Reporting to the Superintendent, this role requires regular on-site presence to supervise labor, enforce Skanska’s Safety and Health Management Program, perform quality inspections, and cultivate strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven construction experience.
• 3+ years administering safety and QC policies.
• 1+ year working with schedule milestones and look-ahead schedules.
• 1+ year assisting with job site logistics and management.
• 1+ year tracking COs and tickets.
• 1+ year working with plans and specs.
• 1+ year experience supporting semiconductor/cleanroom/mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of field crews.
• Inspect subcontractor work for contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and short-term schedules.
• Monitor labor and material costs.
• Prepare superintendent daily reports.
• Participate in project meetings and review change orders.
