Job summary

OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks a Technical Deployment Lead to define delivery for semiconductor customers, own scoping, building, shipping, and adoption across RTL design, verification, and physical implementation. You will translate business outcomes into a technical plan and run day-to-day execution with FDE, Researchers and Customer Engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership.
• Deep expertise in RTL design, verification, EDA tooling, and physical implementation.
• Experience leading high-stakes customer engagements with AI components.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for multiple interdependent work streams.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution across OpenAI FDE and customer teams.
• Embed with semiconductor customer teams to land production deployments and drive adoption.
• Shape production deployments that integrate with customer infrastructure and toolchains.
• Partner with Product and Research to land components in time.
• Codify solution patterns and field signals to improve products.
• Own value cases and ROI with KPIs and post-deployment measurements.
• Help define how OpenAI engages Semiconductor customers.
