Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia seeks a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support line leaders with Change Overs, quality checks, and machine cleaning. You will operate high speed packaging equipment, monitor for faults, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while ensuring production standards are met.

Experience with Syntegon equipment is preferred. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking up to 12 hours, and collaborating across maintenance and production teams to keep lines

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanics is required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a machine operator on high speed production lines.
• Good communication skills with peers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support line leaders with Change Overs, quality inspections and machine cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized work area and follow SOPs.
• Operate box former/closer or case packer equipment and perform adjustments.
• Aim for standard hourly production outputs and support autonomous maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering to minimize downtime.
