Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Machine Operator Level 2 – Semi Auto Specialist for our Richmond, VA manufacturing operations. This role supports line leaders, performs changeovers, inspections, and machine care to keep production flowing.

You will troubleshoot alarms, assist maintenance, and uphold safety and quality across shifts. Applicants should have mechanical training, 1–2 years of operator experience on high-speed lines, and comfort with cardboard processing machinery.

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanics.
• 1-2 years of experience as machine operator on box former/box closer and case packer machines; high-speed lines.
• Experience with cardboard processing machinery.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good Math skills; ability to read a tape measure; fractions/decimals conversion.

Responsibilities

• Operate semiautomatic line equipment (box former/box closer/case packer).
• Perform changeovers and fine adjustments per SOP.
• Inspect quality and troubleshoot faults; escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and assist maintenance as needed.
• Support autonomous maintenance, 5S, quality checks, and line releases.
