Imperative Care seeks a Sr Data Engineering Manager to lead the semantic data platform and AI capability. Based in Campbell, CA, this on-site, full-time role focuses on building a governed data layer, a knowledge graph, and AI-enabled workflows across ERP, CRM, marketing tech, and BI tools.

You will design, prototype, and deploy agentic AI capabilities, drive data governance, and partner with MSPs to scale analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

This role requires 12+ years in data engineering/architecture or related fields.
Experience architecting semantic data platforms and knowledge graphs.
Hands-on experience with production AI/agentic solutions (LLMs, RAG, orchestration).
Strong governance, security, RBAC/ABAC, and data synchronization patterns.

Responsibilities

Lead design and ownership of a semantic data platform integrating ERP, CRM, and BI systems.
Architect and pilot AI agents, workflows, and orchestration across core business systems.
Collaborate with MSPs and vendors to scale data platform initiatives.
Enable self-serve analytics and governance for enterprise reporting.
Drive adoption and leadership for AI initiatives across IT, Finance, Sales, and Legal.
