Job summary

Bloomberg in New York is seeking a Risk Sales Specialist to drive revenue for DDA and BVAL OTC solutions for sell-side institutions, from regional organizations to large global banks. You will build and convert sales pipelines, develop relationships with senior decision-makers, and provide actionable market feedback to shape strategy and product development.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services technology solutions sales with targets
• Demonstrable experience with derivative products
• Strong understanding of derivatives markets and sell-side workflows
• Consultative sales approach and senior-level relationship building
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams
• Recent experience selling derivative risk/valuation/data solutions
• Excellent presentation, training and communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel regularly

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue and lead the sales process for derivative data and valuation solutions for sell-side clients
• Develop and convert sales pipelines into revenue and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers
• Provide actionable market and client feedback to influence strategy and product development
• Lead enterprise sales engagements with cross-functional teams (Financial Engineers, Enterprise Data, Index, Risk)
• Identify workflow gaps across risk, front-office, quantitative, valuation, regulatory, market data and tech teams
• Articulate product features and benefits to customers as a trusted partner
• Develop regional market knowledge and monitor competitor landscape
• Contribute ideas to product enhancements and new projects
• Participate in campaigns, training, and mentoring initiatives
