Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC, a leading private equity real estate firm, invites you to join Prime Storage Group as a General Manager. You will oversee daily self-storage operations, rent units, manage maintenance, and drive customer service and sales across sites.

In this role, you’ll build strong tenant relationships, optimize occupancy, coordinate with maintenance staff, and ensure safety and curb appeal while delivering on performance standards and company expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of customer-facing work in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Technically savvy; able to learn new apps and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs; physical capability required.
• Driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple Albany locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions in person and by phone.
• Generate sales and maintain high occupancy through effective advertising and relations.
• Manage daily operations: collections, deposits, and calls.
• Show and rent units; offer optimal storage solutions.
• Sell merchandise and upsell insurance; schedule moving trucks.
• Assist with auction prep and tenant communications with empathy.
• Maintain curb appeal and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
