Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC seeks a General Manager for Prime Storage Group to lead daily self-storage facility operations, rent units, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. The role covers greeting tenants, maintenance coordination, and inventory management across multiple locations.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, hands-on approach to ensure high occupancy, secure properties, and profitable operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with profit-and-loss involvement
• High School diploma or GED required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be physically able to perform maintenance duties and lift 50 lbs
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel and work at various locations

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer interactions in-person and over the phone
• Generate sales and maintain high occupancy levels through advertising and customer relations
• Manage daily operations, including collections, deposits, and customer calls
• Show and rent units by understanding tenant needs and offering the best storage solutions
• Actively sell merchandise, upsell insurance, schedule moving trucks, and cross-sell other facilities
• Assist with auction preparations and handling tenant communications with compassion
• Maintain the facility’s curb appeal by ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Other duties as assigned
