Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned EHS leader to oversee Self-Perform Work safety programs on major construction projects in Phoenix. You will help design and implement training, risk controls, and incident investigations to protect workers and improve performance.

With 6–8 years of EHS experience in construction, you will supervise field teams, coordinate with project leadership, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or related field required.
• 6–8 years of experience in construction EHS, including self-perform crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS support for Self-Perform Work (SPW) operations within projects or segments.
• Manage field EHS professionals and provide direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Implement EHS programs, training, and compliance activities to reduce risk and protect workers.
• Review risk assessments, audits, and JHAs to support safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate SPW EHS training, onboarding, and competency verification for craft and field leadership.
