Job summary

Next 150 Construction, LLC, a Gilbane Building Company subsidiary, seeks an experienced Estimator to support preconstruction with comprehensive take-offs across multiple geographies, including Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest. The role emphasizes self-perform estimating of Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Metal Framing & Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings and Specialties, plus temporary services; travel is limited and location is flexible near any U.S.

Gilbane office.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings and site logistics plans.
• Complete accurate on-screen take-offs for permanent and temporary scopes of work.
• Interact with a variety of vendors for material and services quotes.
• Support Project Operations teams with Change Management.
• Analyze project results and develop strategies for future estimating improvement.
• Establish estimating protocols to drive accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
