Job summary

Next 150 Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Self-Perform Estimator II to support preconstruction and operations across multiple geographies, with a focus on the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest. The position emphasizes developing take-offs for concrete, masonry, carpentry, metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings and temporary services.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in Engineering or Construction Management with 2–5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings and site logistics plans
• Complete accurate on-screen take-offs for permanent and temporary scopes of work
• Interact with vendors for material and services quotes
• Support Project Operations with Change Management
• Analyze project results and develop strategies for estimating improvement
• Build a historical cost database by project type and geography
• Develop and track project estimates from Concept to Construction Documents
• Produce clarifications and qualifications to support estimates and proposals
• Identify indirect costs and General Condition items within estimate
• Establish estimating protocols to drive accuracy, consistency and efficiency
