ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC in Syracuse, NY seeks a Support Broker to develop Self-Direction budgets and plans, supervise self-hired DSPs, and help individuals manage their budgets and staff. The role requires OPWDD authorization, a human services degree, and supervisory experience.

You will monitor expenditures, participate in Lifeplan and Planning Team activities, and ensure all required documentation is current within OPWDD regulations.

Formación

• Current OPWDD Support Broker Authorization is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a human services field is needed.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience with a developmental disability population, or five+ years with supervisory responsibility.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.
• Knowledge of computer systems and usage is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Self-Direction budgets and service plans for individuals.
• Supervise self-hired DSPs and assist in hiring/training.
• Monitor SD expenditures and budget monthly.
• Attend and facilitate Planning Team meetings and Lifeplan reviews.
• Ensure documentation complies with Medicaid/OPWDD policies in eVero.
• Develop Safeguards/IPOPs and Habilitation Plans per OPWDD requirements.
