Job summary

Monroe Community Mental Health Authority seeks a Self‑Determination Coordinator to administer the SD service delivery model in Monroe County. You will oversee SD agreements, individual budgets, and compliance while coordinating with FMS, EOR, and clinical teams to empower participants with choice and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, public/business administration, social services, or related field.
• Four years of progressive administrative experience in CMH or publicly funded agency, preferably with Self‑Determination.
• Two years of contract management or SD agreements experience; external partners preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing CMHSPs, MDHHS, PIHPs, and Medicaid.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the creation, issuing, processing, and tracking of SD agreements with complete, compliant records.
• Assist with development and monitoring of individual budgets for Medicaid compliance.
• Oversee provider qualification tracking, orientation scheduling, and EOR meetings; create informational materials.
• Serve as liaison between Monroe CMH staff, treatment providers, EORs, FMS vendors, PIHPs, and MDHHS.
• Lead preparation for audits; document collection, tracking, and act as agency point person.
• Develop and update SD procedures, policies, and standards; implement QA processes.
