Job summary

Responsibilities

• Observe self-checkout transactions to identify irregularities.
• Ensure customers scan and bag items correctly; intervene to verify accuracy.
• Respond to POS alerts and investigate transaction discrepancies.
• Report theft, suspicious behavior, or equipment issues to leadership.
• Provide proactive customer assistance and educate on the self-checkout process.
• Greet, assist and thank customers with a friendly, prompt service.
• Keep work area clean, stocked, and free from safety hazards.
