Job summary

Vylor is hiring a Production Technician at its Rushville, Indiana facility to support seed production, safety, and quality.

You will perform harvest and processing tasks, operate forklifts and automated systems (PLC, computers, iPads), and contribute to continuous improvement. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

The role features rotating shifts and occasional overtime during peak season, with health benefits and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with ability to obtain GED within 12 months.
Safety-focused mindset and commitment to safe work practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay productive.
Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
Willingness to learn Corteva systems and company applications.
Valid US Driver's License.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

Model safety as the number one focus.
Serve as safety steward of a designated program.
Harvest seed corn activities: receiving, husk/sort, drying, shelling, bulk operations.
Process activities: color sorting, sizing, gravity table, treating, packaging, and palletizing.
Use of automation and computerized systems (PLC, computers, iPads).
Return and rework activities.
Monitor product quality per the quality plan.
Warehousing duties: forklift operation, quality sampling, picking and pooling.
Data collection for continuous improvement projects.
Facility and equipment maintenance tasks.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
