Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Seed Handling Specialist in Grimes, IA. You will lead seed packaging and sortation, manage the workforce, and ensure safety and quality across operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the production floor and strong problem-solving skills to meet daily objectives. During peak periods, you will oversee the second shift with full accountability for seed inventory and post-sortation activities, while occasionally supporting first shift as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in seed operations, packaging, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee seed packaging and sortation operations with accountability for workforce planning and end-to-end process execution.
• Provide hands-on support on the production floor, troubleshoot issues, and drive safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Lead second shift during peak periods, with responsibility for seed inventory and post-sortation activities.
