Job summary

Vylor in Grimes, IA is hiring a Seed Handling Supervisor to lead the Germplasm Consolidation & Export team, overseeing seed movement, inventory, and export operations across the global research network. The role combines people leadership with hands-on operational support to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant movement of seed materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in seed operations, germplasm, logistics, or related environments.
• Experience in people management and talent development.
• Knowledge of inventory management, international shipping, export documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of phytosanitary regulations and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Germplasm Consolidation & Export team, including performance management and staffing.
• Oversee germplasm consolidation and export operations across the global research network.
• Coordinate priorities and resources to meet seasonal demands and timelines.
• Build partnerships with research sites, logistics, and regulatory teams globally.
• Ensure compliance with phytosanitary, import/export, biosafety, and company requirements.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement in operations.
