Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead projects for Federal and Public clients. You will apply expertise in sediment remediation technologies, design, and regulatory compliance, and act as task manager on complex sites.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering background, 7 years of experience, and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Providing expertise evaluating feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and designing sediment remediation solutions.
• Supporting transport, site assessment, sampling/monitoring and cap modeling concepts.
• Acting as CDM Smith’s task manager on complex sediment sites and communicating technical strategy to clients.
• Leading staff in preparing and reviewing technical information to meet regulations and project needs.
