Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Assistance in Blythewood, SC. You will safeguard clients across industries, conduct patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

Key duties include unarmed patrols, verifying visitor credentials, reporting incidents, and supporting site policies. Minimum requirements: 2 years security-related experience, 2 years law enforcement/military/corrections, HS diploma,

Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience required.
At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter.
Monitor access, verify visitor authorization, report concerns per site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, document observations and actions.
Deter unauthorized access and security threats through visibility.
