Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - General Access in Blythewood, SC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors.

Responsibilities include facilitating access control, handling emergencies, and adapting to site-specific policies. The role requires professional communication, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories where permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and decisively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
