Job summary

Allied Universal, Blythewood, SC, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor facilities, uphold safety, and assist with access control. You will provide professional customer service, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents using company policies.

A valid background and drug screen are required as per policy. Position calls for two years of security-related and law enforcement or corrections experience if applicable, with clean driving record where required.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is desirable.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and conditions that may require reporting or escalation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
