Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Entry Access in Blythewood, SC. You will protect client sites, verify credentials, and deter unauthorized activity while maintaining professional customer service.

The role offers flexible day shifts, a pay rate of $19.10 per hour, and the chance to grow within a leading security and facility services company. Previous security or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related events.
