Job summary

Mobile Communications America, MCA, is seeking an experienced Security Technician in the Columbia SC area to install and service enterprise-level security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion solutions. The role requires hands-on work inside and outside, coordinating with project teams, and delivering quality results for our customers.

Qualifications

Experience installing and servicing enterprise security systems (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion).
Ability to install devices, cabling, and connect to networks.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical systems.
Ability to read building floor plans/diagrams.
Use of hand and power tools; learn/test equipment.
Able to troubleshoot basic issues across security systems.
Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
Two-year degree in Electronics/IT or applicable subject desired.
Proficiency with enterprise security systems installation, programming, and troubleshooting desired.
Training/certifications for security systems and networks desired.
OSHA 10/30 certification desired.

Responsibilities

Install and service physical security systems including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
Learn and contribute to technical and project teams.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
Deliver quality results to customers as a team member and individually.
Execute assigned projects and duties in a timely manner with quality results.
Work with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
