Job summary

Mobile Communications America (MCA) seeks a Security Technician to install and service CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems in the San Antonio, TX area. You will work with project teams to deliver high-quality security solutions for customers.

The role requires hands-on installation, basic networking, and the ability to read diagrams. A two-year degree is preferred; OSHA 10/30 certification is desirable. Travel may be required, and MCA values safety, service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ years of experience installing and servicing enterprise security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion).
Ability to install headend equipment, cabling, and connect devices to the network.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and digital systems.
Ability to read and interpret building floor plans/diagrams.
Able to use hand and power tools and test equipment.
Potential to obtain licensure as required.
Two-year degree preferred (Electronics/IT).
Experience with enterprise security systems – installation, programming, troubleshooting preferred.
OSHA 10/30 certification desired.

Responsibilities

Install and service physical security systems and platforms (CCTV, access control, intrusion).
Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues to deliver quality results.
Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors as needed.
Read diagrams and lay out cabling and network connections.
Install headend equipment and test devices to ensure proper operation.
Complete duties and projects in a timely, safe manner.
