Job summary

Mobile Communications America (MCA) is seeking an experienced Security Technician to support our Security division in the Georgia region, including Tifton, Albany, Valdosta, and Waycross. MCA emphasizes service, growth, teamwork and safety as a Military Friendly Employer.

You will install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion, and other low-voltage systems, learn and contribute to project teams, diagnose issues, and deliver quality results for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience with installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion, etc.).
• Experience with device installation, headend equipment, cabling, and network connectivity.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and digital circuits.
• Ability to read building floor plans and diagrams.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and learn test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across enterprise-level systems.
• Willingness to obtain licensure.
• A two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with enterprise-level security systems installation, programming, and troubleshooting is desired.
• Training/certifications for manufacturer security systems and networks are desirable.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is desirable.
