Job summary

Mobile Communications America (MCA) is seeking an experienced Security Technician to support our security division in the Tifton, Albany, Valdosta, or Waycross, GA region. You will install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion, and related low-voltage systems, and contribute to project teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years with enterprise security installations, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read plans.

Qualifications

1+ years installing and servicing enterprise-level physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion).
Able to install devices, headend equipment, cabling, and network connections.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and digital systems.
Able to read building plans/diagrams.
Able to use hand/power tools and learn test equipment.
Able to troubleshoot basic system issues.
Able to obtain appropriate licensure.
Two-year degree in Electronics/IT or related field preferred.
Experience with enterprise security systems and networked environments is desirable.
OSHA 10/30 certification desired.

Responsibilities

Install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion and other low-voltage security systems.
Learn and contribute to technical and project teams.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to deliver quality results.
Work as a team member and independently to meet project deadlines.
Execute assigned projects with timely, quality outcomes.
Coordinate with trades and subcontractors on projects.
