Job summary

Mobile Communications America (MCA) seeks a Security Technician to install and service enterprise-level security solutions, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, in the Atlanta/Tucker area. You will join technical teams, diagnose issues, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery for diverse customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, field installation, and ongoing learning with opportunities to advance in security technologies within MCA’s growing division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience with the installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems and platforms (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion / Burglar, etc.)
• Ability to do device installation, headend equipment, cabling, and able to connect to the network.
• Basic comprehension of mechanical systems, digital circuits, and electrical systems.
• Basic understanding and ability to read and interpret building floor plans and diagrams.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and learn and use test equipment.
• Can troubleshoot basic issues across various enterprise-level systems.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
• A two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or applicable subject, desired.
• Proficient with enterprise-level security systems – installation, programming, and troubleshooting, desired.
• Training/certifications associated with manufacturer’s security systems and networks, desired.

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and many other low-voltage systems.
• Learning and contributing to technical and project teams.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
• Working as a valued team member and as an individual to deliver quality results to our customers.
• Executing assigned projects and duties in a timely manner with quality results.
• Working with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
