Job summary

Mobile Communications America in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Security Technician to install and service physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection. You will learn and contribute to technical and project teams while diagnosing system issues and delivering quality customer results.

The role requires a two-year degree in Electronics or IT (preferred) and the ability to obtain required licensure.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion).
• Ability to install devices, cabling, and to connect to networks.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and digital systems.
• Ability to read building floor plans and diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools; learn test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion and other low-voltage security systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to deliver quality results.
• Execute assigned projects timely with attention to quality.
• Support field technicians and adapt to various enterprise systems.
