Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) seeks a Security Technician in the Dallas, Arlington, or Odessa TX area to support our Security division.

You will install and service CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems while collaborating with project teams to deliver quality results for our customers. The role requires 1+ years of enterprise security experience, basic electrical and networking knowledge, and the ability to read floor plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience with installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems.
• Ability to install devices, headend equipment, cabling, and connect to networks.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and digital circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret building floor plans and diagrams.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and learn test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across enterprise-level systems.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
• Two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or applicable subject (desired).
• Proficiency with enterprise-level security systems – installation, programming, and troubleshooting (desired).
• Training/certifications associated with manufacturer’s security systems and networks (desired).
• OSHA 10/30 certification (desired).
