Job summary

Performance Team in New Jersey seeks an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team of guards and ensure compliance with security protocols across facilities. You will patrol, inspect, and report on security measures, coordinating with the Security Director and Building Management to maintain safety and order.

The role requires previous supervisory experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to enforce policies.

Qualifications

• Supervises a team of security personnel including guards.
• Ability to read and interpret policy and procedure documents.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic for logs and incident reporting.
• Maintains contract security requirements and communicates with Building Management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of security personnel including guards.
• Monitors, audits, and maintains Contract Security requirements and communicates under the direction of the Security Director, maintaining constant communication with Building Management.
• Patrols buildings, grounds, docks, and worksite, logging information.
• Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
• Warns violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards and security door issues.
• Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
