Job summary

Harvard Protection Services seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee the security team at a Philadelphia site. You will manage staff, schedule shifts, review incident reports, and ensure compliance with contract requirements while delivering professional, customer-focused security and life-safety services.

This role emphasizes leadership, rapid decision making, and strong communication with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Verifiable and successful supervisory and advanced education and/or certifications preferred.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead security personnel and ensure quality services to meet customer expectations and contract requirements.
• Schedule staff, manage overtime, review daily logs and incident reports; train and develop personnel.
• Provide recommendations for personnel actions for staff under your supervision.
• Maintain professional demeanor and lead staff, aiding customers, employees, and guests.
• Maintain visible presence within the facility and enforce policies.
• Monitor environment to detect suspicious or unsafe activity and respond accordingly.
• Coordinate emergency response and investigations; initiate preliminary incident reports.
